April 10, 2006: IGRAC is supporting the UNESCO/OAS ISARM Americas in developing an atlas of Transboundary Aquifers of the Americas.
IGRAC participated in the São Paulo workshop in November 2005 and since then is compiling and interpreting cartographic data on transboundary aquifers of the Americas.

February 7, 2006: IGRAC joined the UNESCO-IHP Experts Group Meeting on "Transboundary Groundwaters" with the Special Rapporteur of the UN International Law Commission (ILC) in Tokyo in January 2006.

On Thursday 16 April 2015, IGRAC Director Dr. Neno Kukuric will give a presentation on the groundwater component of the Transboundary Waters Assessment Programme (TWAP) at the 7th World Water Forum in the Republic of Korea.

UNESCO and IGRAC organised the fifth and last Regional Workshop of the TWAP Groundwater project. The workshop was held from 7-9 October in Bangkok, Thailand and is part of a larger programme also the world's transboundary fresh and salt water systems.

From 22 to 24 July, a Regional Workshop for Western and Central Africa will be held in Dakar, Senegal. This workshop is part of the groundwater component of the Transboundary WAters Assessment Programme (TWAP) and will focus on assessment of transboundary aquifers of Western and Central Africa.
