The IX Coordination Workshop of ISARM-Americas will be held in Medellin, Colombia, 17 - 19 November, 2011, in the framework of the D& (Seventh Inter-American Dialogue on Water Management).

The main objective of the Workshop is the finalisation and final approval of the draft of the Book 4, "Strategy for the management of Transboundary Aquifers of the Americas", aimed to be presented at the 6WWF in Marseille in March 2012.

In addition, a special Session on the TBAs of the Americas, organised jointly by UNESCO, OAS, IUCN and WB, will take place Friday 18 November in the framework of the D7.
